Tax police hold expat for inquiry
Australian businessman Robert Burston was detained and questioned last week by the tax police, said Vladimir Alexandrov, head of the tax police's press center. It was the first time the tax police had detained a foreigner for questioning.
Interpol head wants base in St Petersburg
"We need St Petersburg as a base," Interpol Secretary General Raymond Kendell said last Thursday, during the second leg of his visit to Moscow and St Petersburg.
