A HEAVENLY MAKEOVER IF EVER THERE WAS ONE

The before and after picture set plastic surgeons would give their eye teeth for. The subject is, of course, the head of the angel who came down to earth last winter from the Peter and Paul Fortress. The picture at left was taken before restorers worked their magic arts on the celestial face, while at right, restorer Galina Severina puts the finishing touches on the fallen angel.
