- The Russian Orthodox Church has taken up the pen as a weapon against
religious sects in St Petersburg.
- Archive gets back over half of thieves' haul
- More than a half of the 7,000 manuscripts stolen documents are back at
the St Petersburg State Archive after police smashed an international gang of
art thieves.
- Golden book launched to showcase Petersburg's leading benefactors
- Beginning next summer, an annual "Golden Book of St
Petersburg" will list the names of the 52 people who contribute most to the
development of the city each year. But they'll have to pay for the privilege.
