(SPP) -- In keeping with St Petersburg's extended party season over both the old and new (Western and Orthodox) Christmases and New Yearses, Sadkos will be holding its first ever Russian New Year's Eve Party on Friday Jan 13.
As is fitting for a venue with an ancient Russian name and a modern, international and cosmopolitan atmosphere, they hope to revive the traditional Russian New Year's celebration.
There will be gypsy dancers and singers and Russian entertainers. The $12 entry fee includes a Welcome Vodka Toast and a performance from local band Downtown.
For a further $21 you can enjoy four courses of Russian delights, including Zakuski, Pelmeni, Borshct and Beef with forest mushrooms. Dessert will be Oladia (Russian crumpets), ice cream and wild berries.
The party will run until 3 am. Perhaps you can find the bird of happiness at Sadkos.
