the Pimenova gender-blurring "Gravy Boat" collection.
If Natasha Pimenova is to be believed, St Petersburg's spring will feature alternative fashions for those who like tight clothes on a tight budget and have a flair for androgyny.
Ms Pimenova, 20, showed off her "Secrets of my Gravy Boat" collection to the TaMtAm club, where the preponderance was toward foil, polyester and vinyl, making for a literally flammable combination.
"I wanted there to be nothing natural about this collection," she said. "No natural fabrics have been used, and the tendency of the clothes is to blur the distinctions of gender."
The effect of her foil-collared jacket was admittedly the same on both models, Natasha and Denis, as they demonstrated the unisex versatility of the line.
This is club gear of the highest order. And although she has no official price list, Ms Pimenova says her designs will have less impact on one's budget than they will on the dance floor.
Ms Pimenova's future plans include shopping the collection through clubs in Western Europe.
