Rare is the artist who can paint, draw and sculpt. Rarer still is the artist who can do all three in a variety of styles -- and pull it off. South African Marion Mullinder, wife of South African Consul General Louis Mullinder, is exhibiting about 60 of her works in all these media and others at the Russian Museum for three weeks in December.
- Mystery and terror
St Petersburg has already seen four exhibitions by Ilya Glazunov, but in communist times two of them were shut before they even opened. "Mystery of the 20th Century," which Glazunov created in the 1980s, blames communist leaders for the bloody terror going on in Russia and was an open challenge against the regime.
