  • Mussorgsky Theater (Maly Opera and Ballet) M Mussorgsky, "Khovanshchina."

  • Shostakovich Philarmonia Piano concert, featuring N Trull, performing works by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev.

  • Smolny Cathedral (6:30 pm) Mozart's "Requiem," performed by the Smolny Cathedral Chamber Choir. Artistic director -- Andrei Petrenko.

  • Shostakovich Philarmonia The Philharmonia's Academic Symphony Orchestra. Conductor -- E Erdynysh (Turkey); Soloist -- I Gekalyp (piano). Featuring the works of Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov and Ravel.

  • Smolny Cathedral (6:30 pm) Arias, ariettas, romances, canzoni from Vivaldi, Donzetti, Caccini, Cerubini and Rossini. With soprano soloist M Alaverdi, from the Mariinsky Theater, and pianist N Frolova.
