Pskov is the administrative center of a region located approximately 650 km to the north-west from Moscow on the border with Estonia. Pskov is one of the oldest Russian cities; it was founded in IX century or earlier. The area of Pskov region is 55,000 sq.km, population exceeds 800,000.
