Dear Sirs,
We would be grateful if you could include a link (or a mention) in your web pages to the following web site. We are sure that it will prove to be of interest, and of value, to both yourself and the visitors to your excellent web site.
Site Name : MAXIMOV Online
Site URL : http://www.maximov.com
E-mail : maximail@maximov.co.uk
In Brief :
Russian political and economic news from Interfax, FNS and Maximov with linked contact information from Maximov's Companion, an up-to-date directory of over 6,500 government officials.
In Detail :
The Maximov web site provides continuously updated political and economic
news related to the Russian Federation from a variety of sources, including
Interfax News Agency and Federal News Service, with added research and
analysis by Maximov's own expert editorial team. Government officials mentioned
in individual stories are hot-linked to Maximov's Companion to Who Governs
the Russian Federation, a bi-lingual, English-Russian political reference
directory of the FSU. This unique and reliable service gives users the ability
to contact the key officials behind the headlines. Maximov's Companion provides
contact data across all the political structures of the Russian Federation,
from the Presidents Administration through the Federal Government and Parliament,
to all 89 regional Administrations. The names, titles and addresses
of 6,500+ Federation officials are listed, together with nearly 10,000
telephone, fax, telex and E-mail numbers, all systematically organised and indexed
in both English and Russian. MAXIMOV-Online also hosts several
moderated forums on topical Russian issues, a continuously updated directory
of hundreds of reviewed and rated Internet resources related to the former
Soviet Union, and a rapidly growing selection of other propriety information
resources. Maximov's web site has received numerous awards, including
the Magellan 4 star award and the Point "Top 5% of the Web" award.
Many thanks,
Steve Bland

I have been to Russia twice since jan '96 shooting
documentary for the virginia Methodist church. While there
I shot some 40 Rolls of both color and b&w. Everything from
Red Square (of course) To the Kremlin, Pyatigorsk, Stavropol,
Chalyabinsk. I am particularly proud of my colection of faces
of russian children. Most from a orphange in chalyabinsk.
Anyway just wondering if you would be interested in using
the kids for something or maybe I could contribute to the
churches colections, there are some pretty good ones.
anyway thought I would offer. I don't have a home page yet
but I am working on it.

Very interesting pages. Here I have found many links
about Russian Cities unknown for me. Many thanks for
this collection. Maybe small improvement of pages design
is needed.

I think they have been abandoned. Thks.
I believe the information you present will go a long way to better the West's understanding of what Russia and the former Soviet was all about.
