The Russian Chronicles. This part of chronicles covers Chelyabinsk, Kazan, Moscow, St.Petersburg (October 28 thru November 16, 1995).
- On a bicycle around the
Golden Ring. A chain of old cities and villages
north-east of Moscow is hardly circular, but it is "Golden"
in the sense that it is rich in historical places and towns
that are museums in themselves. This areas is going through
it's second birth: long neglected monasteries and convents
are being reopened to their former beauty and elegance.

Witches and
Wood-Goblins of Old Russia (note that team dates and other
project logistics are subject to change). If you wish to visit
Central Russia in the summer 1996, you can join
researchers from the Russian Academy of Sciences and help them
document age-old customs and rituals from the "well" of folklore
tradition in Smolenskaya, Kaluzhskaya and Bryanskaya provinces
(200-700 km to the south-west from Moscow). This information is
