Album and Gorodets folk art-related photos.
Andrei Sanov, the author of this album, writes:
Forty or so miles up the Volga river from Nizhny Novgorod,
on the river's steep left bank, stands my native town - Gorodets.
It belongs to the large family of Russia's little towns
and presents a typical example of the Russian life style.
Gorodets is one of Russia's oldest settlements. It boasts a rich history of
over eight centuries long. Send comments to Andrei Sanov: sanov@usc.edu.
