American: Marie's Balsamic Vinegar Chicken
INGREDIENTS and PROPORTIONS:
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup flour
6-8 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Dredge chicken breasts in flour. Heat oil in a pan and add chicken.
Cook for three to four minutes, turn and add garlic. When chicken is
golden on both sides, add broth and vinegar (and mushrooms), lower heat,
cook for ten to fifteen minutes. Sauce may need to be thickened with
a pinch of flour paste. Serve with rice or couscous and a green vegtable.
