NEA International Fellows Program

AGENCY: National Endowment for the Arts

PROGRAM: This program is based on the model of the existing arts management fellows program at NEA. US arts institutions may apply, on behalf of a foreign arts administrator of their choosing, for these special grants. The fellows' stay will be divided between residencies at the host institution and NEA, according to the fellow's and the US institution's needs. The grants include a stipend for the fellow to use during her/his time in the United States, as well as reimbursement for internationalal travel costs. In its initial pilot phase, the program is focusing on eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, bringing approximately five arts administrators to the United States for 10 weeks.
