PROGRAM: The Office of Citizen Exchanges announces a competitive grants program to develop training programs in (1) local government and public administration, (2) business administration and business development, (3) rule of law; and (4) independent media development for the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
QUALIFICATIONS: Nonprofit organizations.
MONETARY SUPPORT: Proposals for less than $200,000 will receive preference. Organizations with less than four years of successful experience in managing international exchange programs are limited to grants of $60,000.
