PROGRAM: Grants and work-study scholarships are available from the University of Copenhagen for annual study programs offered in cooperation with the Copenhagen School of Economics and Business Administration. The program combines classroom theory with an exploration of European business practice and includes study of the business environment in Scandinavia, European Common Market, European marketing, finance, accounting, business law, and labor-management relations. Courses are supplemented by field trips and study tours to western Denmark, eastern Europe, Belgium, and an optional tour to the Soviet Union. Courses are taught in English by Danish faculty; students may enroll for fall (September through December) or spring (January through May) semesters, or an academic year. Students can either live with a Danish family or in a student residential hall.
QUALIFICATIONS: Students of at least junior standing with an appropriate major may apply. Information and application forms are available directly from the University of Copenhagen or from 55 coordinating American institutions; consult your financial aid officer.
