The information is about International Symposium
                  on Reflexive Processes:

The Organizing Committee invites you to take part in Symposium on
Reflexive Processes which will be held in Pereslavl-Zalessky, Russia,
May 14-18, 1994.

Symposium is organized by the leading Russian institutions of Russian
Academy of Sciences (RAS) and Russian Academy of Education (RAE).

Objectives: To exchange ideas in the field of reflexive processes
studies; to attract attention to the urgent problems which can be
solved with the use of reflexive analysis methods.

The principal subjects of the Symposium will include:

- the concept of reflexion (history, state of the art, development trends);
- psychological aspects of the reflexive processes studies;
- formal models of the reflexive processes (tentative ethical and aesthetic
models, etc.);
- reflexive structures and processes in man-machine interaction;
- problems pertaining to development of human reflexive abilities (pedagogy,
game, developing computer environments, self-defence of person from
manipulations with its consciousness and behaviour);
- organizing the processes of individual and social reflexion to resolve the
social problems (inter-regional, international, etc.).

Organizing and Programme Committee includes vice-presidents of RAS and
RAE, prominent Russian scholars, heads of academician institutes, and
scientific workers (Dr. E.Velikhov, Dr. V.V.Davydov, Dr. V.P.Zinchenko,
Dr. D.Pospelov and others), as well as foreign scientists (Dr. J.Carpay,
Dr.V.Lefebvre, and others).

Symposium will consist of the invited adddresses and lectures, section
sessions, round-table discussions. The abstracts will be issued up to
the opening of the Symposium. For participants from non-CIS countries
the registration fee is $ 200 (US). The languages of the Symposium are
English and Russian.
