        Backgrounds and objectives
        --------------------------
        The Conference and School were established in 1974 as
        non-commercial organization of scientific workers, which
        incorporates the leading scientists in the field of
        artificial intelligence and computer-aided design.
        The main objectives are a new ideas generation, sharing of
        the experience and the opportunity for informal contacts.

        * Mathematical modeling in physics, economics and ecology

        * Neurocomputing
        Much attention will be given to a new information
        technologies applications to the various fields of science,
        education and business

        Language
        --------
        The working languages are Russian and English.
        Lectures, paper presentations and round-table talks will be
        provided by oral translation.

        Schedule of the School
        ----------------------
        The School will be held from May 4 to 9, 1994.
        The Opening of the School - May 4, 5 p.m.
        In the morning sessions, lectures and reports of the prominent
        scientists with software presentations will be provided.
        In the evening sessions, reports and demonstrations on
        sections, discussions, round-table talks and social program
        will be provided.

        Schedule of the Conference and Exhibition
        ----------------------------------------
        The International Conference and Exhibition will be held
        from May 10 to 13.
        The Opening of the Conference - May 10, 10 a.m.
        In the morning sessions, there will be plenary
        reports of Russian and foreign scientists.
        In the evening sessions, there will be round-table talks,
        software presentations and social program.

        Exhibition
        ----------
        In the frame of the School and the Conference there will be
        arranged a software exhibition and a fair.
        The demonstration will be realized on IBM-compatible computers
        under DOS, WINDOWS or UNIX.

        Submission of Papers
        --------------------
        The papers submitted for review are divided into two
        categories:
        A category - plenary papers ( up to 20,000 signs)
        B category - stand papers ( up to 4,000 signs)
        The papers should be prepared as printed text or as ASCII
        files either on floppy disks or could be sent by E-mail.

        Publications
        ------------
        The A category papers and abstracts of the B category papers
        will be published in 'The CAD'94 International Conference
        Proceedings' in Russian or English.
        Every participant will be provided with the proceedings.

        Deadlines
        ---------
        BEFORE JANUARY 15,1994 the following items should reach
        the CAD'94 Orgcommittee:
        * demand for the participation
        * 2 copies of the abstracts or the software
        descriptions for the participation at the exhibition,
        arranged according to the described rules
        If your demand would be accepted the invitation will be sent.
        The program of the School and Conference will be sent before
        April 15.

        Location
        --------
        The School and the Conference will be held in the one of
        the most beautiful place of the Crimea, on the Black Sea
        coast at the comfortable hotel, in the Gurzuf town (near Yalta)
        The price for accommodation will be 120 $US per day including
        meals.

        Registration fee
        ----------------
        Registration fee is expected to be approximately 310 $US

        Social program
        --------------
        In the frame of the School and conference it will be arranged
        parties, tours to the most beautiful places of the Crimea,
        tasting of the world-famous Crimea vines and so on. After the
        Conference the 3 days "Moscow Golden Ring Tour" is planning with
        visiting the beautiful old towns, located around  Moscow.

        is held within frame of the 21st International Conference
                        CAD'94

        Area and rent cost
        ------------------
        The exhibition and the fair is to be held in a main hall,
        having the area of 600 sq.m..
