U.S. Dept. of Commerce's Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) Defense Conversion Program has competitively selected many highly qualified industry and government executives from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. Intern expenses are paid for by U.S. Government for this unique program to train selected NIS executives in free market economy business methods. Two weeks of intensive business training will be held at Department of Commerce (June 19, July 10, September 5, and October 30) followed by six weeks of on-the-job training with U.S. companies. Host company experience will provide NIS trainees with experince useful in developing commercial ventures for their industries.
