Subject: Chemical Suppliers for Consumer Products Mfgr
I have recently been in South Russia, (Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Krai) on a project for the International Executive Service Corps.
I was advising a company there on technical and marketing requirements for manufacturing hair care products (spray, shampoo, setting lotions, conditioners, etc.). They currently manufacture paints and related products primarily, but for both economic and environmental reasons, need to get into consumer products for sale in their local region of South Russia.
They need sources for chemicals used in these products ... detergents, amides, conditioning materials and additives, and all related raw materials. Samples, literature, specifications, and pricing/shipping info is needed. The company is a relatively small to medium sized long established factory, that has recently been privatized.
Pyatigorsk is a small city from which communications by telephone with the US is very difficult. However, they will have a decent E-mail connection via SprintMail, which is currently being set up for them.
