The U.S.-Russia Business Council and The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia will host a conference in Moscow entitled Beyond Moscow: Trade and Investment in the Regions of Russia-

Governors of leading regions of Russia, along with their trade and commercial officers, will highlight the opportunities that exist for trade and investment outside the Moscow-St. Petersburg corridor. Five different regions will be focused on during half-day sessions throughout the week. Ambassador Thomas Pickering, along with Embassy representatives from the Foreign Commercial Service, FBI and the Department of Treasury, will open the program with political and economic profiles.

The conference program provides an ideal opportunity for companies to expand their knowledge of private-sector potential across the Russian Federation, examining promising regions with largely untapped consumer bases and favorable tax regimes.
