The International Trade BBS is a message and advertisement databank which deals with worldwide exports, imports, services, and direct investments. Because this commercial bulletin board system uses PCBoard software, subscribers have many powerful interactive keyword search and retrieval abilities. This information may be viewed on-line or downloaded to any PC (DOS, Mac, other) with a modem and communications software. There is an extensive online help system.

There are two levels of access for individuals:

SUBSCRIBERS have full read/reply access to all advertisements and commercial postings on the International Trade BBS, with 30 minutes/day access, no connect time charges, and no limitations on downloads. A special inaugural subscription is only US$20 per year.

SUBSCRIBERS have access to three conferences (country and industry specific conferences are to be added later):

Main - a general discussion forum
International Trade - commercial postings from subscribers and non-subscribers
E-EUROPE - commercial offers from Eastern Europe

NON-SUBSCRIBERS may post an unlimited number of commercial advertisements for placement in the International Trade conference. An advertisement may be placed by dialing the BBS directly and posting a message to the SYSOP; by sending it by e-mail to USA@WORLD.STD.COM; or by sending a DOS diskette with ads in text/ASCII files. There is no connect time charge.
