<h2>Proceedings_ of_ BTCF'96_ Available</h2>
    The first volume of the proceedings of the '96 Beijing Tau-Charm 
Factory Workshop, held in February 
1996 at IHEP,  was published in April.  The first volume collects 
21 papers based on talks given at the plenary sessions and the parallel sessions. 
Now the Design Group of BTCF is preparing the second volume which compiles 
many technical reports read out in the workshop and will be ready  by  the 
end of the year.<p>

<h2>BTCF gets money for feasibility study in 1996</h2>
    Fund for this year's feasibility study of BTCF has been allocated 
and divided among the  divisions concerned. In addition, several new work 
stations are purchased for a better calculating circumstance.<p>
<h2>ACFA's Statement Supports BTCF</h2>
    The Asian Committee for Future Accelerator (ACFA) 
made a statement during its first meeting recently held in Pohang, Korea, to support China  
in construction of  Beijing Tau-Charm Factory.<p>
