Subject: high schools in Slovakia

I'm teaching high school students in Slovakia how to access information
using internet. They don't have access to journals, or new books.
An electronic bridge to world information will be very important to the
future well being of these people. Can you put me in touch with someone
who might be interested to consult on these matters? Thank you. Tom Repasky

I understand that the United Nations shortly will issue a

consist of building and construction, supply, runway repair,
water and power production, camp maintenance, and contract
management!
Anyone no of any groups involved in this and
putting together a proposal?

Subject: Fellowships at Penn State for study in Kiev

We at Penn State University just received $23,000 in fellowships from
SSRC to support students who want to spend six weeks at our summer
intensive program at Kiev Mohyla University. Dates are May 23-July 7.
Students can sign up for 8 credits at beginning to advanced levels of
Ukrainian language. We will have five in-state tuition fellowships
($1675) and five out-of-state fellowships ($2475). We also have five
food and housing fellowships (approx. $500). Students will be housed
either with families in Kiev or at dormitories at the university.
For more information contact: Michael Naydan mmn3@oas.psu.edu.
        Fax: 814-865-1675 (also office phone).
Airfare from NY will be about $750 (probably on Finnair).
Penn State is an equal opportunity, affirmative action university.

Subject: need help with extended cyrillic for DOS

I'm trying to help a friend who just bought an IBM that she will
take home to Kirghizstan. She has a cyrillic font, but says she
can't find some of the characters. I think what she means is that
she can't find characters that are in Kirghiz, but not Russian. One
looks like a theta, and I think there are some diacritical marks.
Does anyone know of a font that contains this extended cyrillic alphabet?
