I work for The Center for Post-Soviet and East European Studies (at the
University of Texas at Austin). The Center is setting up an Internet-based
server for information relating to East European sciences, education,
business, law, arts, and humanities. I currently need Names and Internet
addresses of (European, American, and Asian) institutions that are
Relkom/Internet/Bitnet hosts and house open (public access) information
relevant to the East European sphere. If you know of such institutions, I
would be grateful to receive such information from you, and would be happy
to share our accumulated information on East European resources. Also, I
encourage you to use the Center's server when it comes on-line.

Lists in the form of subject and telnet address are particularly useful,
such as:
Art history -- host odin.unomaha.edu, port 70
although, addresses in any form will be much appreciated.

Respectfully yours,

R. Craig Plumlee

Hi,

A comment on the draft form -- there should be an (optional) 'originally from'
entry to help people locate others of the same background and to show the
diversity of the users here.

Good idea -- will add to the form before distributed later this week.
