Subject: Orthodox Liturgical Music

Dear Greg and Natasha,

Thank you for making this network possible. It is through the efforts
of people, like yourselves, that are making the world a better place.
Keep up the good work!

This Spring I will be visiting Russia and the Ukraine for the purpose
of conducting research on Russian Orthodoxy, its history from Czarist
Russia through the establishment of the Independent States, and its
musical evolution. I would like to correspond with knowledgeable Russian
Orthodox who can provide insight and information that would be of benefit
during this trip.

  Again, thanks.

Subject: [Railway in Eastern Siberia]

I am currently writing a guidebook on the 3170km BAM railway in Eastern
Siberia and I would like to correspond with someone who knows about the
glaziers in the Kodar range, and the BAM gulags. In addition, I would
like to contact someone with technical railway knowledge, particularly
signals, to check some facts. Does anyone know the email addresses
of any russian railway institutes?

wondering if there was anybody out there that could help Valerie with this. If
so, please contact her directly.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give her.

Subject: Fw: Need Czech Contacts

Greg, People have really gone out of their way to help me!
I'm forwarding a typical reply to someone in Czech Republic.
We're planning to get together in either Prague or Brno.

Most important, I'll be staying at the Atrium Hotel, if
anyone wants to contact me there. (And Yes, I do have
some tasks to do, in exchange for helping other people!)

Thanks for your help via Friends! I am enjoying reading
about concerns of other people. I'm astonished at what
a wonderful exchange service this is turning out to be!

Thanks again, Bob Bishop

Hello friends in Russia. I'm a 19 year old college student in my second year

like to exchange email with anyone in Russia who would care to talk with me.
I also am running my own WWW server at:
