Subject: Moldavia

Dear Natasha: I commend you on a fine project, and I enjoy the
information. I am wondering if you can direct me to anyone in Moldavia? I
am Romanian, and my father, in fact, is from 'Bucovina'. We have friends
in Chisinev, and I am particularly interested in pursuing some studies in
Comparative Literature from that region. Specifically, I am interested in
the mutual influences the Romanian/Russian cultures/language
have had on each other. My Russian is limited,
although I have studied Russian literature in translation. But my Romanian
is fluent, so any information in that language would be okay. I would be
very grateful for any help. I wish you continued success!

Virtually,

Doris Plantus-Runey
