There are 100 Institutional memberships. That is Member and Associate Member. And of these about 70 percent are in Europe and 30 percent in the United States of America. The Individual Member category is designed for persons who have continuing broad-ranging interest in CEE. Supporting Members include corporations that see the vital needs being met by Alliance programs. Additional Supporting and Individual Members are invited to join our efforts. A further diversification of membership is the decision by the board of directors to expand Alliance membership to include universities throughout Europe. The Alliance would welcome additional institutions of higher education to membership. See Joining AUDEM
The Alliance has also begun cooperative efforts with People to People International, a large organization that has initiated many types of efforts to bring people together from numerouos cultural, national and ethnic backgrounds; a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the Alliance and People to People International in 1994. The Alliance welcomes additional agreements with similar organizations.
The Alliance is prohibited conceptually and by its articles of incorporation from political activity, including the support of persons seeking public office and influence legislation in a country from promoting ethnic divisiveness, from propoganda activities, and from the supression of basic freedoms. Membership inquiries are invited.
