Dear Alisher,
Thank you for sending this detailed report about the Round Table
between Uzbekistani and Kyrgyzstani journalists. There has been a lot
of focus recently on the divisions in the Ferghana Valley since 1991,
and it was encouraging to read of efforts being taken to rebuild
connections and understanding. I am sure that all members of this list
wish you continued success with this.
I wonder what other initiatives are actually working at the moment to
foster cross-border relations in fields of culture, the professions
and education? If anyone can enlighten us, I am sure that the members
of this list would be very interested to learn about them.
