Thanks, Alisher. Now I dare to ask a question that may make us
uncomfortable, but I do want to know a little bit more about the situation
in cosmopolitan Osh: do any of you, especially those of you living in and
working in southern Kyrgyzstan, think there is a strong possibility for
the terrorist activities to become more of an inter-ethnic
phenomenon--that is, one based on renewed antagonisms between Kyrgyz and
Uzbeks. I'm interested in "word-on-the-street" types of commentary, etc.
