Dear friends,
I am glad to join the FVDL. My name is Caroline Eichenberger, graduated
from and lecturer at the Department of Anthropology of the University of
Basel, Switzerland. I was able to make several short trips to Uzbekistan
and Kygyzstan since 1994. I recently concentrated on the topic of
reconstruction of national identity in Kyrgyzstan. Many of the topics
mentioned by previous new members interest me. Questions of identites,
ethnicity and nationalities are of special interest to me right now. I
wish for this DL to be succesful.
