Greetings to List Members:

I am a new member of the list. I am with the Counterpart Consortium in
Tajikistan, a local NGO capacity building program. We assist local NGOs
throughout the country and foster partnerships between NGOs across borders
in Central Asia and encourage coalitions of NGOs on issues of interest and
action. We also have similar Counterpart programs in all of the CARs.

We have an active NGO Support Center in Khojand that serves the Tajikistan
portion of the Ferghana and are aware of some of the needs and a few
possible initiatives. I believe there is good potintial for working at the
grassroots level.

I will be out of touch until mid-May and will try to catch up on return.
