Dear Friends,

A new trade union Internet resource "Prafsayuzny Rukh Belarusi"
appeared in January 2001. The web-site was designed to rapidly inform
the world community, international trade union organizations,
Belarusian and Russian Trade Unions and mass-media about the
situation in Belarus as well as to promote Internet communication in
the Belarusian trade union movement.

The policy and strategy of the site is defined by an Editorial Board
involving editors of four trade union newspapers of Belarus.

The information is given in three languages: Belarusian, Russian and
English.

The news about trade union activity, infringements of trade union
rights, analysis of social and economic situation in Belarus as well
as trade union legislation, legal consultations and information about
the leading trade union associations of Belarus can be found in

                        http://www.praca.by

The information of the site is renewed at least 3 times a week. The
site is controlled and operated by Natalya Ladutko (editor) and Yury
Polevikov (web-master).
