CONNECT/US-RUSSIA, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is currently looking for a
detail and team oriented full-time Program Manager. CONNECT is a
nonprofit with a mission to promote a more humane and peaceful world by
engaging critical issues facing the United States and the countries of
the former Soviet Union through the creation of collaborative
relationships.
Duties will include:
Grant management
Writing grant and amendment proposals
Financial and narrative reporting
Prepare financial requests
Participant screening and selection
Program logistics
Designing and implementing professional program including recruiting host
business, and host family orientations
Cultural program (weekend trips, receptions, potlucks…)
Schedule and manage interpreters
Arrange host family stays
Liaison between interns/delegates and host businesses, organizations, and
host families
Orient interns/delegates, host businesses, and host families to the
program
All administrative duties pertaining to the program
On call for any emergencies while groups are in MN
Development
Assist in development and coordination of special events for donors and
potential donors
Assist in research for potential funding sources
Assist in development of marketing materials
Develop proposals for new programs
Prepare budgets for new grant proposals
Donor recognition (thank you letters, published list, additional forms of
recognition)
Track donors and maintain donor lists
Strong candidates will have Russian language, development and grant
