JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
GRANTS MANAGER
THE EURASIA FOUNDATION RUSSIAN FAR EAST OFFICE, VLADIVOSTOK
The Eurasia Foundation is currently seeking a Grants Manager for its office
in Vladivostok, Russia. The position is open to Russian nationals and will
be filled in February, 2001.
Responsiblities include:
Monitoring all grants made in the Russian Far East by The Eurasia
Foundation;
Reviewing all proposed grants;
Preparing grant agreements;
Organizing and conducting grants management seminars;
Reviewing grantee financial reports;
Visiting grant sites;
Supervising a Financial Analyst and Grants Analyst
The ideal candidate will:
Have a university education in finance, economics, business, or accounting;
Have at least 5 year's experience in a non-profit or business environment;
Possess excellent computer skills including database, spreadsheets, and
word processing;
Know Russian tax and financial laws, as well as Russian accounting
standards;
Have native Russian language skills and proficient English-language skills;
Know USAID regulations;
Possess strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills;
Demonstrate excellent presentation, communications, and interpersonal
skills;
Value self-motivation, sound judgement, and teamwork.
