nonprofit, located just outside Washington DC, is currently seeking

* Deputy Director/Finance, Azerbaijan Job Code DDF/JC
Mid-high level applicants sought for the position of Deputy Director
for Finance, based in Baku, Azerbaijan to assist with management of a
two year grants management program for community services.
Responsibilities include all aspects of financial management, including
financial reporting, grants administration and oversight. Must be able to
travel and hire and manage local accounting staff. CPA, MA or equivalent
experience and at least 8-10 years experience in program finance management
in international community development programs or related projects. Related
prior experience working in community development capacity and working with
foreign donors (preferably USAID) strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal
skills required. Candidates with prior work experience in NIS countries and
knowledge of Russian are preferred.

Program Development Assistant sought to aid in the administrative aspects of
proposal and grant writing and new project generation. Position requires
excellent writing and proofreading skills, excellent organizational skills,
prior experience in grant and proposal writing, and an interest in
international development. Second language capabilities are strongly
preferred. Prior nonprofit experience is a plus.
Program Development Officer Job Code PDO/ JC
Program Development Officer sought to write grants and proposals.
Position involves seeking new opportunities for projects around the
world, travel, researching regional cultures and donor sources,
writing grants and proposals in a timely and professional manner, a
willingness to work with those of varying cultures and socio-economic
backgrounds, and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Second language capabilities a must.
Staff Accountant Job Code SA/JR
Position duties include, processing and monitoring international project
expenditures, track and maintain loan portfolios, post budget and other
journal entries as required, produce and review profit and loss reports and
other financial reports, process domestic and international wires,
coordinate with program and field staff on programmatic financial issues,
assist with annual budget, audit and proposal development. Position requires
at least a BS in Accounting, three years experience in accounting,
experience with multi-currency and nonprofit accounting, and language
capabilities in another language in addition to English (Spanish, French,
and Russian are preferred). Preference is for candidates with Solomon IV
software experience.
