Freedom House, a Washington-based, non-governmental organization committed
to human rights and the promotion of democracy, seeks a country coordinator
for programs in West NIS.
Candidates for the position should have expertise and experience (3 years
minimum) in at least one (preferably all) of the following areas:
1. International democratization programs (particularly civil society
development);
2. Grant-making.
3. USAID and private/corporate foundation regulations and procedures;
Strong preference will be given to Russian speaking candidates.
This position is available pending funding. Additional details regarding
the job -- start date, location, program specifics -- will be provided to
competitive candidates.
