The Eurasia Foundation, a privately managed, nonprofit grantmaking
organization funded by USAID and private donors is seeking a Country
Director to manage a full grant-making operation in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Under the supervision of Washington, DC headquarters, the Baku-based
Country Director will serve as the Eurasia Foundation representative,
decision-maker, and spokesperson in Azerbaijan. The office manages a
growing portfolio of small grants relating to the Foundation's work
in private sector development, local government and public policy,
and civil society development. Relevant professional and managerial
experience in the NIS, fluency in Russian and strong computer skills
required.
Experience in one or more countries in the Caucasus or Caspian
regions is desirable. Salary commensurate with experience.
