Country Director, Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

Counterpart International seeks qualified candidates to lead efforts
promoting civil society with both the Tajik and refugee populations,
including the development of a network of sustainable, localized
Support Centers capable of providing a range of services to local
NGOs. The Country Director is responsible for leading the
development, implementation and monitoring of a long-term strategic
plan and short-term work plans for Counterpart Tajikistan.
Additionally, the Country Director is responsible for ensuring that
the organization infrastructure supports effective and efficient
fulfillment of Counterpart's mission and obligations. Requirements:
Five years' experience working with NGOs; minimum of five years'
experience working in an international organization; minimum of three
years' managing others; excellent communication skills; ability to
set priorities and manage time effectively; English language
proficiency; analytical and problem-solving ability; and the ability
to think strategically and to act in the best interest of Counterpart
as a whole. Desired: extensive knowledge of the issues, objectives
and activities of the NGO and refugee sector in Tajikistan;
demonstrated ability to take initiative, build consensus and make
things happen; and knowledge of Russian, Tajik, or Farsi. Please
