     About CCC: Counterpart Creative Center is a Ukrainian NGO and an
     official branch of Counterpart International, Inc. in Ukraine. The
     mission of CCC is to develop and implement programs aimed at promoting
     human creative endeavor, upholding ideals of civic society, solving
     problems of educational, cultural and scientific nature, strengthening
     the sector of non-governmental not-for-profit public organizations.
     CCC was registered in 1996.
     
     Counterpart Creative Center works in the following fields:
     # Providing informational and consulting services.
     # Conducting training and seminars.
     # Conducting researches, evaluations and surveys.
     # Administrations of grant programs.
     # Preparing and issuing publications.
     
     Summary of Project and Position: CCC seeks applicants for the position
     of Project Manager for Ukrainian NGO Trainer Association and
     Evaluation Project, supported by C.S. Mott Foundation. This project is
     a logical extension and development of CCC activities aimed to
     strengthen the NGO sector in Ukraine. Among other project objectives
     are the following: increasing the professional skills of the NGO
     Trainers by creating Ukrainian NGO Trainer Association, providing
     information essential for Ukrainian NGOs in the most effective manner
     and etc.
     
     Applicants should be citizens of Ukraine. His/her services will be
     solicited on a full-time basis for two-years (with 3-month probation
     period) to manage a Ukrainian NGO Trainer Association and Evaluation
     Project.
     
     The Project manager will oversee and will be responsible for all work
     performed within this project.
     
     The position will be based in Kyiv, Ukraine, but will involve travel
     to regions of Ukraine and, probably, some international travel.
     
     Responsibilities:
     
     * Management of Ukrainian NGO Trainer Association and Evaluation
     Project including: supervising project staff, managing operations
     within the project and providing monthly fiscal and project reports as
     well as quarterly and annual narrative and financial reports in
     English.
     * Manage and monitor all project components.
     * Conduct project outreach.
     * Responsible for the quality, cost, and timeliness of performance of
     all work performed within the project.
     * Conduct and facilitate meetings, round tables, and other public
     events within the project.
     
     Qualifications:
     Candidates must be well-organized, skilled at handling multiple tasks,
     able to adhere to deadlines and work under pressure, able to work
     overtime (when necessary), be experienced traveler, be creative.
     
     Other specific qualifications should include:
     * University degree
     * Experience of work in Ukrainian NGO sector (minimum 2 years)
     * In depth knowledge of situation in the Ukrainian NGO sector
     * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
     * Good understanding of trainer's work, and experience working as an
     NGO trainer and evaluation specialist would be advantageous
     * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
     * Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian and English
     * Good knowledge of computer and relevant software (MS Word, MS Excel,
     MS Access)
     * A background in managing NGO projects would be advantageous
     * Initiative and responsible
