Burbank, California (October 16, 2000)-www.armenianradio.com announces the
broadcast of Telethon 2000 on November 23 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM PST.
Eleven-hour Armenia Fund Telethon will webcast live on armenianradio.com.
and will air live in its entirely in several United States cities, with the
first four-hours being telecast in Armenia, Europe, the CIS, the Middle
East and the Persian Gulf. All countries will have the opportunity to
participate through local fund razing activities and/or tool-free
international telephone access.
The Telethon, organized by Armenia Fund, Inc. and Armenia Fund USA, will
provide an opportunity for greater international outreach to participate in
building the necessary infrastructure for both Karabagh and Armenia. It
will particularly feature the continued construction of the North-South
Highway in Karabagh, as well as the construction of four new schools in
Armenia's earthquake zone.
