Position: Reproductive Health Advisor-Armenia
Department: International Programs

Overview: The Reproductive Health Advisor (RHA) will be responsible for the
technical design and management of program interventions under Save the
Children's Regional Partnership Project. The RHA will represent Save the
Children at appropriate health sectorial meetings in Armenia and establish
and maintain strong working relationships with governmental and
non-governmental stakeholders and Networks counterparts. RHA will be part of
a management team including national staff that will manage the overall
project.
Requirements: Clinical degree (MD, RN, NP, CNM), graduate degree in public
health, or equivalent combination of education and work experience; 3-5
years' of professional experience in international programming in
reproductive health and family planning. Demonstrated experience in design,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation of FP/RH projects; previous
professional experience in skills training for RH clinical staff, FP/RH
outreach and non-formal education. Flexibility, adaptability and ability to
work in a challenging and environment; excellent organizational skills and
demonstrated ability to coordinate project staff. Experience in the
development of financial cost-recovery mechanisms preferred. Experience
working in the Former Soviet Union or similar environment and Armenian or
Russian language skills preferred.
