Greetings from Vladimir, Russia!
My name is Lydia Moiseyeva. I am the Coordinator of Youth Exchange at
the Vladimir Linguistic Association. I' d appreciate it much, if you
could place the information about our organization on your web-site.
I hope that it'll help us to find more friends and partners.
VLA is a non-profit organization that exsists since 1993. All the VLA
progects are somehow connected with international aspect.
1. Since 1993 VLA has been organizing International Youth Camp "IKAR"
near Vladimir. This project is supported by City Administaration and
partly sponsored by our American partner-organization. The camp aims
at multicultural exchange and experiencing Russian culture in
particular. This year the camp will be run in August 1-10. We expect
participants from Russia, the USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia,
Canada. Price: 150-200$ per person (for the whole period). We are
open to new contacts and joint intercultural projects.
2. August 3-6, VLA will be holding the 1st International conference
for youth organizations ETTRA 2000. The following questions are put
in the agenda:
* International links: youth exchanges.
* International links: international youth camps.
* Youth organisations and authorities.
* Volunteers in youth organisations.
Registration fee - 100$.
3. VLA organizes youth exchange programmes (cultural, Russian
language, family stay).
