Meetings at Resource Center on National Minorities
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
The Resource Center has had meetings with "Society on Protection
Rights of Women", Humanitarian Center "Yuva" and Society "For
Democratic Reforms". In the meetings was considered situation with
national minorities in Azerbaijan. All three organizations work in
different spheres. In particular, "Society on Protection Rights of
Women" works with women of national communities, "Yuva" with children
of minorities, and Society "For Democratic Reforms" on protection of
political rights of minorities.
All three organizations have prepared the projects on conducting of
particular measures of situation of the ethnic minorities in
Azerbaijan. Resource Center has granted them the information about
activity of International NGOs on the ethnic minorities, about recent
developments in the field of protection of rights of minorities in
Azerbaijan. Unfortunately Resource Center has no sufficient financial
resources for support of all designs, therefore I officially ask
international funds to assist in financing the designs.
Resource Center is ready to grant services on preparation of proposals
and control of fulfillment and summarizing of designs of NGOs of
Azerbaijan Republic. Also we are ready to help in organizing trainings
on fundraising for Azerbaijan NGOs of national communities of
Azerbaijan Republic.
