Good morning. You may already be aware of this announcement, but I
received in yesterday's mail a flyer for an upcoming conference that
might be of interest to you, as well as others who are on the
CivilSoc list.
The title is, "Will Civil Society Save the World? Christian Insights
into the Role of the Third Sector in International Development." It
is being co-sponsored by the Calvin Center for Christian Scholarship
and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, and will be
held on November 9-11, 2000, on the campus of Calvin College in Grand
Rapids, Michigan.
The contact person for further information is Dr. Roland Hoksbergen,
who is the Chair of the Department of Economics and Business at
