Dear Friends,
Let's stop ecological accident! We require your support. You can
deliver a signature under our letter to President of Russian
Federation V.V.Putin and our children will tell you a thank.
The independent non-profit ecological organization "Istok" was
founded by the Chaikovsky Town Fund for Support of Civil Initiatives
"For Democracy."
The purpose of the organization is preservation of the living nature,
researches of flora and fauna, development of humane attitude to
animals in the society, suppression of attempts destruction and
damage of the nature. We are looking forward enhancing international
cooperation in the field of the protection of nature
The organization, during the existence, has executed a series of
projects and programs adequate to the purpose of its activity. In
particular, we have conducted volunteers project "Clean city", 74
volunteers have participated in it.
The workers of our organization have participated repeatedly,
together with state authorities, in operations, directional against
persons, that by pirate, barbarous methods, execute fisheries. The
researches of influencing to the purity of water by decaying logs at
the river bottom Kama were conducted, but because organization
disposes poor money the researches were not finished.
Our organization repeatedly publishes mass media materials dedicated
to protection of nature. Nowadays the organization staff consists of
4 nominal employees.
