SME/Financial Services Advisor - UKRAINE
Counterpart International, Inc., a non-profit Washington, D.C.-based
NGO, seeks a Small and Medium Enterprise/Financial Services Advisor for
a potential program opportunity in Ukraine.
Responsibilities may include: assessment of enabling environment for
national-level microcredit initiative, technical assistance to
lending initiatives run by local NGOs, coordination with local and
international financial institutions operating in Ukraine, and other
management responsibilities.
Requires: microfinance experience, 10 years economic and/or
organizational development experience in international environment,
and familiarity with microfinance best practices and microlending
models. Prefers: Ukrainian and/or Russian language skills;
experience working overseas, especially in the former Soviet Union.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
