Dear Members of CivilSoc:

I am pleased to announce the release of the online version of the
Environmental Education Teacher Training Manual in Russian.

This book can be accessed at:

http://www.metalsrussia.com/environment/book.html

The site allows you to download the six chapters of the Environmental
Education Manual in Russian: Energy, Water, Solid Waste, Air, Green
Spaces and Ecology, Money and Community; as well as translated
Icebreaker activities and an Introduction to the book itself. This
book is designed for teachers' use for environmental education
lessons for high school students. These chapters can be downloaded
separately and are relatively small files.

The project was a collaboration of U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers in
Ukraine, The Lviv Teacher Training Institute, Ukraine; Donetsk
Academy of Management- Ecological Management Department, Ukraine; and
Community Partnership Program- Donetsk Regional Training Center,
Ukraine.

Please feel free to pass this book and this site along to any
interested parties. If you have question regarding the book or would
like a hard copy please contact Rostislav Giordivich and Olga
Shaporenko at ssp@ssp.donetsk.ua or Iryna Kyselova at
donartc@mail.dc.ukrtel.net .

Special thanks to ISTIL-DMZ Donetsk and Metalsrussia Corporation
Worldwide who donated the web space for this site!

Sincerely,

Brigid McCormack
