        STRENGTHENING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN NGOs FOR
INCREASED INFLUENCE ON THE DEMOCRATIZATION PROCESS IN UKRAINE

Between October 27-30, 1999, in Kharkiv, Ukraine, an International
Conference will be held on "Strengthening Connections between NGOs for
Increased Influence on the Democratization Process in Ukraine."

The conference's aims are to develop both a strategy and a program of
NGO's joint action for the beginning of the 21st century. The next aim is
to work over mutual understanding and conflict situations solving skills
which are necessary for cooperation and development of the partner network
of NGO's.

All the NGO's that would like to take part in joint actions are invited.
For taking part, it is necessary to e-mail reports synopsis (no more than
15 minutes).

Please send this information (and questions) as soon as possible by e-mail

It is also possible to participate in this conference via electronic
report or video cassetes. For those who cannot come to Ukraine for the
conference but who want to be a part of this network.
