CCSI just received this announcement:
New Issue of Magazine «Crossroads»
The Innovation and Development Center, a Ukrainian non-profit organization
is pleased to announce the new issue of its bi-monthly magazine
«Crossroads» (in Ukrainian). The third issue focuses mainly on relations
between NGOs and businesses.
In addition it presents
* the results of sociological research conducted by Lviv
State University (Business and Charity)
* a description of charitable activities initiated by volunteers of
Volyn Resource Center and Foundation named for the Princes-Benefactors
Ostroskiy
* a report from the roundtable discussion «Ukrainian Business
Leaders and Philanthropy, organized by the Center for Philanthropy;
* a historical profile of one of the most famous Ukrainian philanthropers
Kharytonenko and current philanthroper Volodymer Kashitsky;
A large section of the magazine is devoted to discussion of registration
procedures for non-profit organizations in Ukraine, introduced by the
State Tax Administration. As in previous issues the third issues includes
many sections presenting resources for NGOs, and consultations with
professional accountants on how to maintain accounting records in NGOs.
Preparation and publication of the magazine was made possible by the
generous support of the Ch.S.Mott Foundation and Eurasia Foundation.
To receive the third issue, as well as previous ones, the IDC requests
organizations and individuals to send postal stamps which will cover
mailing costs of the materials (Four Hryvnia per each copy of the magazine).
