Announcement of the 3-rd issue of the "Legal Education" Information
Bulletin of Counterpart Creative Center
The 3nd issue of the "Legal Education" Information Bulletin was
published in February 1999. The issue is funded by "The Rule of Law"
Consortium at the expense of the US Agency for International
Development. The Bulletin is a monthly publication in the Ukrainian
and English languages. It is to be disseminated among the
non-governmental organizations (NGOs) advocating human rights in
Ukraine, donor organizations, bodies of power etc. Materials of the
Bulletin are also available on the Internet site of Counterpart
Creative Center http://www.viaduk.net/ccc
The main goals of the bulletin are to provide NGOs with on-line and
useful information of civil rights advocacy and to establish a
permanent exchange of information among the organizations advocating
human rights in Ukraine.
The following materials have been published in the 3-rd issue of the
Bulletin:
Information about the donor programs (Charles Stewart Mott Foundation)
Legislation News (Review of the legislative acts adopted in Ukraine in
January of 1999 and information on the Draft of the Law about
protection of the affiants).
Legal Glossary (a series of materials on anti-corruption)
International Events.
News from Ukraine (New Questionnaire for Ukrainian NGO database).
Resources (information on new trainings, conferences, fellowships
programs, announcements of the new publications and pages on Internet
of advocating human rights, information about organizations advocating
human rights, new projects etc).
Methodologies (Training on Applied Law for pupils).
